Today, more than ever, environmental management is one of the main topics for the success of any business. For many people the answer is an Environmental Management System (EMS), a framework where impacts to environment can be reduce. Also, an EMS can be able to reduce costs, improve the efficiency and give a competitive advantage to a company.

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that gives the rules to establish an effective EMS. The standard is designed to get a balance between maintenance of profitability and reduction of impacts in the environment and, with support of organizations, it is possible to reach both objectives.

In our case, and due to our special relationship with organic farming where environmental balance is very important, this standard has become essential because, after knowing those significant aspects from an environmental point of view, we have been able to work on them to minimize its possible impacts.
